Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use bisaconvention.live, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it deliberately short, because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Ticket alerts. If you sign up for alerts, we store the email address or phone number you give us, which part of the site you signed up from, and the date you signed up.
• Enquiries. If you contact us, we store your name, email address, the topic you selected and your message so we can reply.
• Technical data. Our servers log IP addresses briefly to rate limit form submissions and block spam.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell your data, and we do not use cookies to profile you across other websites.

Why we use it

To tell you when tickets go on sale and to share essential event information; to answer your enquiries; and to keep the site secure and functional. That is all. We will not add you to unrelated marketing lists.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to run the site — our hosting provider, our database provider and our email or SMS delivery provider. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Bandsintown

We use Bandsintown to publish tour dates and to send show alerts. After you sign up for alerts we offer you a second, optional step on Bandsintown — a Follow, RSVP or reminder button.

To be clear about what that does: we do not pass your details to Bandsintown. The button opens Bandsintown's own page, and anything you enter there is collected by Bandsintown as an independent company, for its own purposes, under its own privacy policy. It is entirely optional and skipping it does not affect your alerts from us. To be removed from Bandsintown you need to contact Bandsintown — we cannot delete their records for you.

The reverse can also happen: if you opted in on Bandsintown, we may add your email address or phone number to our own alert list so we can tell you about this event. Everything in this policy — including asking us to delete it — applies to those details in exactly the same way.

How long we keep it

Alert sign-ups are kept until the event has passed and the final follow-up has been sent, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. Enquiries are kept for up to twelve months. Rate-limiting logs are discarded within days.

Your choices

• Every alert we send includes a way to opt out.
• You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• To do any of the above, email info@bisaconvention.live from the address you signed up with, or include the phone number you used.

Third-party content

Our venue section embeds a Google Map, and our social links point to Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube. Once you interact with those, their own privacy policies apply.

Children

The Convention is an 18+ event and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes materially before the event, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where it affects you, say so in an alert.
